Methane Gas Leaking Through Ice.mp4

Methane gas trapped in perma-frost land is thawing and being released into the atmosphere.

All of Northern Canada and Russia are covered with permafrost (definition frozen land) which is unfreezing and releasing methane which is not currently a major contributor to global warming.

The scary part is that the permafrost is only starting to unfreeze and can easily become a runaway contributor to green house emissions as it is by nature and we would have to somehow freeze all the north land!
